Artist Statement

My work is process driven and I crave that sweet spot where play becomes discovery. I take pleasure in the dialogue between my hands and the material I work with. A variety of textile techniques and materials can be found in my work: from handwoven cloth, machine embroidery and hand stitching, to recycled bedcovers, acrylic paints, earth pigments and metal leaf.
