Wu Hanyen is a woodworker, movement practitioner, and educator based in Providence, Rhode Island. Through their studio, Work in Use, they craft high-end movement tools that integrate function and art, designed to be displayed in the home as celebrations of craft and materiality. Wu’s interdisciplinary background spans graphic design, which they studied at the University of Texas, and furniture design, for which they earned an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.
